The one thing I have continued to pride myself on is my enthusiasm and 'connecting' with the crowd in front of me. Djing for me is after all about entertaining, not just playing a succession of choons that I love in the hope that the crowd like them too; it's sharing a special experience. Many years dancing floor side of the decks has taught me that the importance of connecting with the people in the room is as important as the music itself; this connection is something I still continually strive to achieve.
While spinning choons new or old I hope that anyone that has seen me play appreciates this, as well as the fact that I don't take myself too seriously!!!
As for the music, well that's difficult, as there are so many choons that have me dancing my socks off. |
